Wideframe 0.2.138

Released 2026-09-19

You can keep workspaces in different locations, including a mounted LucidLink Filespace, and choose which microphone to use from a recording with several audio channels.

New

Workspace locations

In Settings, choose a Default location for new workspaces and add other folders you want Wideframe to look in. You can keep personal work locally and add a team folder on an external drive or shared storage. New Workspace lets you choose a destination for each workspace.

Changing locations leaves existing workspaces where they are. Removing a location from Settings stops searching it without moving its files. You can also add a single workspace directly.

Try it: "Add my team folder as a workspace location. Keep my Default unchanged."

You can create and open workspaces on a mounted LucidLink Filespace. Briefs, analysis, transcripts and reports stay with the workspace, and media already on the Filespace can be linked into it. Chats and app settings remain local to Wideframe.

Connect the Filespace in LucidLink before choosing it in Wideframe. Ask for a current check when you need to confirm its connection or mount location. Coordinate edits so one person writes to a shared workspace at a time.

Try it: "Create a workspace in my LucidLink team folder, link this interview into it, and analyze and transcribe it."

Choose the microphone in a recording

You can ask Wideframe to examine individual microphones in a file, identify who is speaking, and use the selected microphone for a soundbite. The choice carries through playback, rendering and Premiere export. If a clip already uses the wrong microphone, you can change it without removing the clip.

For camera footage with several separate audio streams, you can lay out one track per microphone. When the voices overlap or bleed into both microphones, Wideframe asks you to resolve the ambiguity.

Try it: "Work out which microphone belongs to each speaker and put the selected speaker on both sides for each soundbite."

Fixed

  • Fixed workspace descriptions renaming the workspace folder when only the description changed.
  • Fixed creating a workspace from the dialog continuing in the previous conversation; it now opens a new session with the workspace loaded.
  • Fixed multi-microphone camera clips using the first microphone when another was selected.
